The Revenue module covers everything that happens after sales says "we won": managing the product catalog and prices, governing contracts and renewals, and approving high-value discounts.

  1. Set up the catalog — Products with codes, list prices, billing types.
  2. Build quotes with line items from the catalog (see Quotes).
  3. On acceptance the system creates a contract with the quote's terms.
  4. Contract is activated — the account is promoted to Customer.
  5. Before the contract ends, the system schedules a renewal task and a renewal reminder.
  6. Renewal opportunity can be created when the customer wants to extend.

What the system does for you

  • Auto-promote account to Customer the moment a contract is activated.
  • Auto-stamp Customer Since date on the first activation.
  • Daily expiration sweep — at midnight, contracts past their end date are marked Expired and the owner is notified.
  • Daily renewal reminder — when a contract is within its renewal-notice window (e.g., 60 days before end), the owner and the account owner get a reminder email.
  • Discount approval — opportunities over $500K auto-route for manager + director sign-off.

Where to find things

In the Enterprise CRM app, the Products group contains:

  • Products — the catalog

And the Sales group contains Contracts (because they belong to the sales process).

Approvals live in the Approvals group:

  • Approval Requests — what's pending
  • Action History — who approved what, when
  • Processes — admin view of the approval rules
